It makes sense that most of the stereotypes we have about Italy come from the expressive, passionate south. Cause majority of the immigration to the US came from the rural South, places like Calabria or Sicily. But I went to Turin, in the north of Italy and it was unlike the Italy you know. Quiet, reserved, private. Not your typical Italian stereotype.
